My Purpose

I create for kids is a blog for anyone wanting to find some unusual and creative activities to do with kids. I began my career far longer than I care to remember and was always interested in giving my students the creative side of learning. I think (and have experienced)the fact that if children have fun learning, they will retain the content much longer. I have written several books and most of them have been out for along time. That's because I have chosen to be a stay at home mom. But now that our triplets are "flying on their own," I am back in the writing mode. My goal is just to provide teachers, moms and anyone working with children to have access to a wealth of ideas that teach and entertain.
